Children don't like to study. It's a "chronic disease".

Should help the child to implement a set of targeted treatment plan, the child regained the enthusiasm for learning. The first step is to diagnose the child's state of mind in the face of learning, and the second step is to evaluate the child's learning ability, whether the child has formed his own way of thinking, and whether he has formed contact with new knowledge. Instead of repeating the routines demonstrated by the teacher in class to deal with homework, it is to make a plan with the state of the first two steps. "will = confidence + commitment + motivation is a person's deepest thoughts. You can measure the degree of motivation of children in the face of learning. Do you know what kind of thing they think learning is? which time are they particularly satisfied with their performance in learning tasks? will the child reveal it in the process of answering the above five questions? Then the main thing parents should do now is to restore their children's learning motivation and let their children find things related to them from their studies.

Children do not like to learn, that is a "chronic disease". For "chronic diseases", it is necessary to have the consciousness of long-term response. What "chronic diseases" need is long-term observation, long-term treatment, and long-term hard work, rather than prescribing fierce drugs to achieve immediate results. When there is time during the holiday, children should be helped to implement a set of targeted treatment plans. when the new semester begins, children regain their enthusiasm for learning and have confidence in learning well, so such a summer vacation can be regarded as fruitful.

The summer plan has three steps. The first step is to diagnose the child's mentality in the face of learning; the second step is to evaluate the child's learning ability, which is not the test score, but whether the child has formed his own way of thinking since school and whether he has come into contact with new knowledge. There should be four thinking steps of "information classification-information accumulation-information combination-information conclusion", instead of repeating the routines demonstrated by the teacher in class to deal with homework. The third step is to make a plan combined with the state of the first two steps, adjust it through the 50-day summer vacation, that is, the recuperation process of "chronic disease", and finally let the child have a full state at the beginning of the new semester. This state does not refer to a lot of rich knowledge, but refers to a mental state, which is the key.

The first step is mental diagnosis. The state of mind of learning refers to the inner willingness to learn. When children face learning, they show joy, expectation, boredom and resistance, which can be evaluated by three elements. The first element is motivation, the second element is commitment, and the third element is confidence.

Willingness = confidence + commitment + motivation

Motivation is a person's innermost thoughts. The following five questions can measure the strength of a child's motivation in the face of learning.

1. There are three important links in learning activities, namely, listening to lectures, homework and exams. Which one do you think is the most important?

two。 Do you know who are the three students with good grades in the class? Do you know what kind of thing they think learning is?

3. When you start a learning task, such as doing homework or attending a lecture, who do you think you are doing it for?

4. If you finish a day's homework, or if you do well in an exam, who would you most like to know?

Children don't like to study. It's a

5. In your memory, what was the time when you were particularly satisfied with your performance in learning tasks, and what did you do that time?

In the process of answering the above five questions, children will show three different attitudes of "negative, neutral and positive". You can evaluate it and rate it. The neutral attitude is 0, and both negative and positive tendencies are divided into 5 levels. negative tendencies range from-5 to-1 and positive tendencies from 1 to 5. In this way, the child's motivation score comes out.

The motivation score must reach at least 3 before it is possible to achieve the second element, namely commitment. If the child's motivation score is less than 3, then the main thing parents should do now is to restore their child's motivation to learn. To let the child find something related to him in his study, he can be touched, and let the child feel that he can achieve change through his own efforts, and he should be able to personally see the result of the change and express his satisfaction. this is the thing that can help the child regain his motivation.

Commitment is that a person expresses his determination to you in his own language. If this person writes out his resolution, the degree of commitment will be stronger; if the written promise is posted, it shows that he or she is more determined. Then corresponding to what needs to be done, it is more likely to be done, and it is more likely to change and achieve results.

The third element is confidence. Only when children see the results of their efforts, will they believe in themselves and believe that their efforts can achieve their pre-set goals, and can they form a circuit in the brain, that is, as long as what they want to do, coupled with corresponding efforts, can be achieved, or partially achieved. In this way, the state of intention is restored.

Can a holiday restore a child's willingness to learn? This is like restoring the inner strength of a long-term chronic patient, it may still be sick, but the face is ruddy, the voice is strong, and the walk is solid, which is an important signal in the process of recovery. Correspondingly, it is that the eyes of the children are alive, and when they see the homework, they are no longer disgusted and resisted, and are no longer treated with the mentality of sending, dealing with and perfunctory.

The second step is the assessment of learning ability. There are also three elements of learning ability, namely, the level of knowledge, the experience of thinking and the performance of practical skills.

Ability = knowledge + skills + experience

The key to these three elements is experience, there is no experience, there is no skills, no skills, it seems to be knowledge, in fact, there is no foundation, by the tide of time a few times, washed clean, leaving only a blank in the brain. There are also five questions that can measure the current level of a child's learning ability.

1. When you think you understand a knowledge point that the teacher said in class, under what circumstances can you use the knowledge point and write them out.

two。 Recall the situation when you were in class, and whether there was anything the teacher said that you already knew. If so, recall how you knew it.

3. Have you ever tried to imitate the homework, or imitate the questions in the examination paper, and work out a question by yourself? Try to imitate it once.

4. Try to tell your parents any knowledge you have learned from school and see how long you can speak.

5. Can you find the same knowledge in different subjects in school? Try to write it.

The above five questions are also graded according to the child's answer, which is also between-5 and 5, and the final score determines the child's learning ability. If the score is less than 1, then the most important thing for parents now is not only to restore their children's willingness to learn, but also to start the process of reinventing basic knowledge. When reengineering, it is necessary to emphasize practical operation, that is, to cultivate children to form enough experience and show their own operational skills, so as to form their own knowledge.

For example, if you want to improve the math ability of children in the third and fourth grades of primary school, you should start with a card counting game instead of letting them do exercises blindly, because doing exercises is a way to further consolidate the proficiency of knowledge, but learning is not a skilled type of work. it's a form of thinking. Children must form their own understanding, for example, through the process of winning or losing in the game, to understand the changes between numbers. For more activity cases, please refer to "good mothers teach math like this". There are 53 hands-on activities that enable children to develop their own skills and eventually become their own knowledge.

In this way, the two steps are completed. The psychological principles involved in the above two steps are in the psychology of crying and lying about parenting. All kinds of problems in the process of children's learning are all chronic diseases. There is no emergency in learning, and there is no need to hang on to an emergency. All learning problems need comprehensive laboratory tests (that is, assessment), diagnosis, and the search for causes. It is not necessary to prescribe the right medicine to the case, but to adjust the cause and the change of "cause". Will bring "fruit" maturity.

The third step is to make a plan. Set the adjustment plan according to the score of the child's willingness to learn and learning ability, that is, the treatment system.

For the recovery of intention, there are three activities that can be implemented in the family during the summer vacation.

1. Make learning tasks easier, in the form of games, math can be turned into games, Chinese can also be, English can also be. Play twice a day, once for 15 minutes, with an interval of 6 hours. Adhere to a summer vacation, as long as the child through the game can restore part of the willingness to learn, that is to improve.

two。 Make a summer plan with your child, not for learning tasks, but for something you want to achieve. For example, parents can set themselves to lose weight, measure their current weight, and set the weight to lose. Plan what you want to do every day, write it down, post it on the wall, encourage your child to make a plan that you like, and follow it. This is the best way to restore confidence.

3. Set up an outdoor activity program with an hour of outdoor activity every day and an alternative when the weather is bad. The event can be running or shopping together. If you run, you should set quantitative indicators such as distance and time; when you go shopping, you should have specific tasks, such as getting the prices of 10 similar products, as well as packaging information. Record the outdoor activities of the day that night. Parents must participate in such activities with their children, talking and discussing on an equal footing, rather than preaching.

The above three activities are used to restore the will of the child, and only when the will is restored can it have an impact on the child's learning activities. The key to learning activities should start from the implementation of the operation, and the initial operation should return to the foundation and be simple enough. For example, the math of primary school students should return to the content of the third grade, or even the content of the second grade. If it is Chinese, it is necessary to return to the level of vocabulary and phrases, and to increase the way of simple reading, the key is to have a link of thinking, or to invite children to speak out any knowledge they understand. These are all mental processes.

All these contents can be implemented. The improvement of mathematical ability can use four counting cards and their corresponding games, and the improvement of Chinese ability can use talkboards and their corresponding conversation games. These are all good ways to restore children's learning ability from the beginning of operation. It is not boring homework, but flexible and changeable tasks that need to use the brain. In activities, the brain naturally becomes enlightened.

Do you really want to use this summer vacation to improve your child's willingness and ability to learn? For the treatment of "chronic diseases," one summer vacation is enough to restore basic physical strength, just to see if you can implement it bit by bit, bit by bit, not impatiently, in a scientific way, first evaluated and used for diagnosis, and then plan. Come up with a plan; and always stick to it. As long as you do it, then, when the new semester begins, you will get a sunrise in the morning, feeling the sun illuminates your life. (sun Luhong)
