According to the survey data of World Health Organization, 1/3 of cancers can be prevented, 1/3 of cancers can be cured by early detection, and 1/3 of cancers can reduce pain and prolong life to some extent, such as cervical cancer, ovarian cancer, breast cancer, uterine fibroids and other diseases. Regular gynecological checkups are the umbrella of protection for women.

What items are included in gynecological examination?

1 、 General gynecological examination.Including vulva, vagina, cervix, uterus size, shape, position, pelvis, ovaries, etc.

2 、 Fallopian tube examination.Within 3 to 5 days after menstruation, a tubal lavage examination should be performed. If there is blockage, timely treatment should be carried out to ensure smooth flow.

While the above examinations are common in gynecology, there are other slightly more specific examinations that are also used in gynecology from time to time, such as hysteroscopy and laparoscopy.

Before the general gynecological examination, the following issues should be noted.

1 、 Before the physical examination, you can give feedback to the doctor about your recent physical condition, such as the menstrual passage in the past 3 months, discomfort during menstruation, abnormalities in sexual life, pregnancy and delivery, whether you have a history of miscarriage and other medical history, etc.
